The XLA Series is Wharfedale Pro’s all-new flagship line array system. With two subwoofer models and a 3-way full-range coaxial element, the system employs advanced acoustical engineering to deliver stunning, immersive sound.

At the core of the XLA-308 full-range element is a centrally mounted coaxial mid-high transducer, integrated with Wharfedale Pro’s innovative EVO-FLOW waveguide. Flanked by two advanced 8” neodymium woofers in separate vented enclosures, this design ensures precise, high-performance low-frequency output while maintaining compact dimensions and reduced weight. Custom drivers, crafted by B&C in Italy, provide exceptional clarity, uniformity, and sonic detail across all frequencies above 500 Hz.

For deep, powerful bass and unmatched system versatility, XLA Series offers two subwoofers. The XLA-118SUB is Wharfedale Pro’s first cardioid-arrayable flown subwoofer, designed for maximum flexibility and precision. Complementing it is the overwhelming XLA-221SUB, (yes 2 x 21”) which delivers the INFRABASS that customers around the world have been anticipating.

Both subwoofers are equipped with advanced custom drivers from Beyma featuring Maltcross technology and 4.0” multi-layer voice coils. This ensures superior heat management and reliable performance even under demanding conditions.

With flexible rigging options, including cardioid flown configurations, rugged construction, and tailored FIR presets, the XLA Series ensures unmatched clarity, precision, and power.

XLA has been over-engineered to ensure that the audience hears every nuance of the performance with unprecedented clarity and uniformity. It’s not just about volume; it’s about delivering sound with precision and power.
